Health & Safety

The Concept Doors Management team has long acknowledged the critical importance of robust health and safety practices, as well as environmentally conscious measures, for the sustained growth and well-being of our company, supply chain partners, and clients. Our operational practices are a testament to this commitment, undergoing continuous evaluation to ensure that high standards are consistently upheld.

We empower our workforce by providing comprehensive training and education, fostering a working environment that advocates safe and clean practices, promoting equal opportunities for all. Our environmental commitment extends to sourcing materials pre-cut to size and reusing packaging whenever possible, resulting in nearly zero waste. Dust generated during the machining process, along with excess packaging, is repurposed in our supply chain partners' bio-mass boilers.

As part of our environmental stewardship, we have incorporated electric vehicles into our fleet for general use, including meetings and site visits, effectively reducing our carbon footprint. Our workplace maintains these elevated standards through vigilant monitoring by dedicated staff reporting to senior management, supported by our workforce encouraged to contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement. Concept Doors proudly holds FSC® and PEFC accreditation, offering FSC/PEFC products upon request.

The adoption of pre-hung door sets on-site significantly diminishes waste and health and safety risks associated with traditional installations, such as high-speed rotary tools, trailing leads, and debris. Our delivery approach, palletising door sets by plot, complete with pre-cut architraves, stops, and pre-fitted door furniture, minimises site deliveries, reducing the carbon footprint and waste while enhancing site productivity and distribution efficiency.
