The Management team of Concept Doors have long recognised that both good health and safety and environmental practices are essential for the future growth and well being of the company and that of its supply chain partners and clients. Our own working practices reflect this and are under constant appraisal to ensure that standards are maintained. We utilise the full potential of our workforce by providing all necessary training and education and providing a working environment that promotes safe and clean working practices with equal opportunities for all.

Our commitment to the environment now means that all materials are purchased pre-cut to size and all packaging is re-used where possible reducing waste to almost zero. The dust that is produced during the machining process and any excess packaging is removed for use in one of our supply chain partners bio-mass boilers. Further proof of our commitment to the environment is shown by our purchase of company electric vehicles for general use to attend meetings, site visits etc, again reducing our carbon footprint. These high standards are maintained within our workplace by dedicated staff who continously monitor and report to senior management, and also by our own workforce who are encouraged to come forward with ideas where we can improve. Concept Doors are FSCĀ® and PEFC accredited and are able to supply FSC/PEFC products when required.

The use of pre-hung doorsets on site significantly reduces site wasteage and health and safety risks that are connected with the high speed rotary tools, trailing leads and debris on floors associated with traditional installations. As concept doorsets are delivered palletised by plot, complete with pre-cut architraves, stops and pre-fitted door furniture where possible this reduces the need for multiple site deliveries significantly reducing the site carbon footprint and waste whilst increasing site productivity and efficiency of distribution.
